Parental Transition Coaching
I work with parents, predominately mums, who are often feeling stressed and overwhelmed and wanting to find a way to have more control over their busy lives.
I know the challenges that come with balancing family and career as a full time working mum who has worked in different roles and companies since becoming a parent. I can empathise with the challenges of appearing at work as a professional after a broken nights sleep and never ending temper tantrums before the working day has even begun. I know the mixed feelings that can accompany a work trip and the panic of ‘the phone call’ from nursery that means you need to drop everything.
I work with parents over different sessions to identify what the true goal is for family life and career, offering a safe and judgment free space to discuss anything you need to. We explore any limiting beliefs that might be holding you back, we tackle parental guilt and practical ways to give you better balance. We build a plan together to make any necessary changes to give you and your family a better balance that helps you feel calmer and more in control.
I work with parents on parental leave to those whose children are in school or secondary school, I offer a range of options from ad hoc coaching to a programme of sessions usually between 6 and 10 to meet different needs. I also understand that finding time for coaching can be a huge challenge as a working parent and therefore offer evening sessions (after bedtime) for those that need that support.
